Geologic Time Book in Progress

I have been working on the first Earth & Space Science book over the past months. My initial audience has been my son Jeremy, who is almost 3. He seems to like them so far. Having mainly designed comics on quick processes such as fast-acting chemical reactions, it has been a shift figuring out how to tell stories in comic form that span billions of years using the characters. It has also given me an opportunity to expand on some of the characters and take their interactions in new directions. I've wanted to have a comic with Birdley and Jaykes playing chess for a while, so finally I have the opportunity here. The nice thing is that having worked with the strip for about five years now, I have a pretty good idea of what most characters would say and how they would interact. I look forward to showing a few of these to my classes in the Spring.
