Birdley looks towards 2009

Happy New Year, everyone. I hope everyone is looking forward to a fantastic 2009. This promises to be a landmark year for Dr. Birdley - the two long awaited earth science books will be coming out this year: Mysteries of the Earth and Constructing the Earth. Constructing is due out sometime in the early Spring, and I'm about to send Mysteries off to press. I think you'll find that the books are able to work some of the up-to-date cutting-edge science into core subject areas outlined by the national earth science frameworks. In addition, keep logging onto www.birdleymedia.com and this blog for updates on some online birdley webisodes and interactive games, which are due to come out sometime this year as well. Animation will open up some great new possibilities for Dr. Birdley and allow him and his crew to travel to places that have not yet been explored in the comics.
